Four implants over two trips with Dr. Aymerich. On the surgery day I was in and out in ninety minutes and he rang me at the hotel that evening to check on me. The underground parking meant we could drive down from Freiburg and make a week of it instead of flying.

There is a dog. I did not expect a dog. He put his head on my knee in the waiting area and I more or less stopped caring about the extraction.

The dentistry is good. Getting to the dentistry is the problem. You go in through a shared atrium in an office block, there is no clinic sign at street level, and I walked past the entrance twice with a suitcase in thirty degrees. Once you are upstairs it is calm and professional. Put a sign outside.

Wheelchair user here. Step-free from the car park to the chair, the lift is big enough, the toilet actually works for me. I have paid three times as much in Zurich at clinics I could not properly get into.

My appointment was at 11:00 and I was called at 11:50. Then an assistant did the X-ray, somebody else took my details again although I had filled in the form online, and I saw Dr. Aymerich for maybe twelve minutes. The plan he gave me is sound and the price is honest, 1,150 EUR per implant, itemised. But it is a busy place and you feel like one of many that day.

Two implants and a bridge. Zurich wanted 14,200 CHF, here it was 5,300 EUR plus the flights. Elena did the cleaning before the surgery and found a problem tooth nobody at home had ever mentioned. Very happy. One warning: email replies take about a week, so phone them if it matters.
